How to get the best out of your team and
keep them motivated through change
How to create a stable,
productive environment during turbulent
times, retain good staff and give team
members a sense of worth and direction.
Aims of the
seminar:
It is often said that
staff are the most valuable resource a
business or organisation has access to. This
is only true if staffs are performing well.
One of the key tasks of management is to
create a climate where high performance is
expected and respected. Change however, is a
constant factor in our working environment,
and keeping people motivated during the
change process is a vital part of a
manager’s role.
Whilst most managers see
themselves possessing the skills to deal
with aspects of change such as planning
systems, material resources and equipment,
many are not equipped to deal with the human
consequences of change management.
This programme will look
at how teams develop over the years, how
people react to change, and how you as a
manager you can clarify, motivate and
develop your staff through the change
process.
During this
programme we will explore:
-
The development of
teams over the years
-
The transitional
curve – staff’s feelings and experiences
during a period of change
-
How you as a manager
can help and motivate your staff during
the change process
-
How to create a
culture an ethos within the organisation
for people to flourish
-
Facilitating and
coaching others
-
Constructing and
implementing development policies and
action plans for your staff
-
Recognising and
celebrating success
Who will
benefit?
This programme is
suitable for managers at all levels within
an organisation – those new to the
management process, first line managers,
Divisional Directors, Heads of department
and anyone that is needing to support staff
during the change process.
